- 2/3 c. dry bread, rye
- 1 c. milk
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 c. grated onion
- 1/8 c. grated green pepper
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Piquant Sauce:
- 3 T. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
Mix the meat loaf ingredients together and put into a greased pan. Cover with Piquant sauce and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
