1 medium head lettuce, shredded
1 (10 oz.) box frozen green peas
Bac-Os bits
1 c. chopped celery
1 1/2 c. sliced green onions
1 to 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
drop peas into boiling water and let completely thaw; drain. Arrange lettuce in bottom of deep dish. In layers add celery, onions, and peas. Do not toss. Spread mayonnaise evenly over layer of peas. Sprinkle cheese. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving. Just before serving. Sprinkle with bacon bits. Serves 10 to 12.
