Festive Fruit Punch

1 12-oz. can mixed fruit juice concentrate

1 c. water

1 to 1 1/2 c. bourbon whiskey

1 qt. lemon-lime soda, chilled

1 to 2 T. powdered sugar

Frozen ice ring

Up to a week ahead make an ice ring or block using a gelatin mold. Use fruit juice instead of water. Place orange, lemon and lime slices with maraschino cherries. Freeze and cover with foil.

At least two hours ahead mix together fruit juice concentrate, water and bourbon to blend. Chill. Just before serving add soda and sugar to taste. Add ring.
